Our Journey
Originally founded in 2012, Keystage Properties was formed to create homes for people who require specialist support and face significant barriers to accessing homes.
After 10 years, Keystage Properties reviewed its strategy and vision in 2022 to strengthen and widen its focus on the development and creation of new housing opportunities for individuals at risk of homelessness in the East of England.
A year later Keystage Properties became Keystage CIC, with a revitalised mission, vision and reconnection to our core values; to create the right home for any individual to access at the right time in their housing pathway.
Owning and managing a diverse portfolio of rental properties, Keystage CIC believes in partnership working within our communities. This is often alongside specialist providers to support approaches to innovative developments of homes for those who are in need.
Our Vision
That every person lives in a home that is decent, safe and secure and supports them now and in the future.
Our Mission
To end the revolving door of homelessness in our communities through a range of affordable, social and specialist housing opportunities.

Message from Our Chair
I am proud to be the Chair of Keystage CIC and, together with fellow Board members and the Executive Management Team, we are taking the Association forward to the next stage in its development.
Our aim for each person who comes to us is to find them long-term housing options and provide the right support suited to their own personal, often complex, needs.
We have a great track record in developing homes and services to support people to sustain their homes through our approach to offering the right home, with the right support at the right time. We are well placed to continue to be a preferred provider based on quality and high service standards to our tenants, communities and our partners.
We are ambitious for the services that we deliver, and this is an exciting time for our Board and our teams as we embark on a significant development programme over the coming years, our business plan for 2024-2029, making a £3.5 million investment into new accommodation in 2024-2025 alone.
Keystage CIC is a housing association that lives its values and is innovative in its approach to achieving its mission to end the revolving door of homelessness through the creation of homes and homes with specialist support.
I am confident that our approach to continuous quality improvement, underpinned by strong governance and the development of a talented and inclusive professional workforce will support our Vision to ensure that every person who lives with us lives in a home that is decent, safe and secure, and supports them now and in the future.

Our Strategic Plan
That every person lives in a home that is decent, safe and secure and supports them now and in the future.
Keystage CIC's Strategic Plan for 2024 - 2029 is designed to focus on essential growth and sustainability. It is built on five key pillars which encompass a number of broad themes; boosting staff skills; improving property management; enhancing organisational performance; upholding high standards; executing strategic projects; promoting sustainability.
We will strive for transparency in operations; leveraging technology to improve services. Implementing Total Quality Management approaches to ensure continuous improvement and tenant satisfaction.
We involve residents and tenants in decision-making processes, fostering creative and innovative developments which are safe and supportive. This collaborative approach ensures that the voices of those we serve are heard and considered in our strategic planning.
The Keystage CIC Board, along with the Growth and Development Committee and the Audit and Risk Committee, will closely monitor the implementation of this plan. Regular reviews and assessments will ensure we stay aligned with our mission, adapt to challenges, and seize new opportunities to foster stronger, more resilient communities where everyone can thrive.
Our Conclusion
At Keystage CIC, we believe that a safe and supportive home is the foundation upon which individuals can build brighter futures. Our 2024-2029 Plan is the blueprint for constructing these foundations, brick by brick, with a focus on people at its core. By investing in professional development, sustainable growth, and active community engagement, we are not just building homes, but nurturing thriving communities.
